Create an announcement banner
Go to the Refined Administration.
Click Sites in the left-hand menu.
Pick the site you want to work with.
Go to the Audience Features tab.
Click + Create Announcement.
Setting | Description | ||

Title and message | The title and message of your announcement. | ||
Location | The announcement banner shows up on the page you select, and on all its child pages. | ||
Link URL and Link text | Add a link to the right side of the announcement banner. Adding only a Link URL will show that exact link in the banner. By also adding a Link text, you create clickable text that opens the link. | ||
Published | The banner is not visible on your site until you check this box to publish it. | ||
Closeable | By default, active banners always stay visible while users browse the site. If you check thisbox, users can close the banner. | ||
Type | You can choose one of four banner types: warning, alert, info, and announcement. The icon and banner colour change depending on the banner type.
