You can add a language switcher to sites, categories or portals.
What is translated?
Location | Description |
|---|---|
Jira text | If Jira supports the language a users switches to, Jira texts are updated automatically. If Jira does not support the language, install a language pack and ensure you’ve translated portal-related strings in the project’s Language support. |
Jira Service Management requests | To translate JSM portal names, request types, request type fields, and descriptions, go to the service project admin section under Language support for Jira 8.16 and newer. Read more. |
Refined features | To translate the Refined site and site structure, landing page layout, footer, modules and more, use the Custom text variables & Dictionary feature. |
Add a language switcher
The language switcher automatically appears when you add one or more languages in Refined Administration > the Languages tab. Click the + Add language button and select a language from the list. You can manually add languages that are not in this list by entering a language ISO code.
