Use the UI Steps macro to show content as numbered blocks. The look of the macro may differ depending on your Confluence editor’s version. The macro setup works the samesteps to make instructions clear and organized.

This solution consists of an outer macro which is a container for inner macros (the individual steps). In the example above, we created one UI Steps macro that contains three UI Step macros.
In the Confluence editor’s top menu, click + > View more or Other macrosHit the
/
key or click the + in the editor toolbar.Find and select the UI Steps (with an -s) Refined Step Container macro.
Inside the UI Steps this macro, place as many UI Step (without an -s) Refined Step macros as you want. Click Insert > View more or Other Macros and select the UI Step macro. Add content below each UI Step bar.needed.

While all steps are numbered 1 in the Confluence editor, they are numbered correctly when published. In general, we don’t support adding third party macros within the UI Step(s) macros.
