After installing the app, you can start using macros right away.
Activate Refined Toolkit
To apply themes and customise a space overview, you need to first activate Refined Toolkit for that space.
Navigate to a space.
Go to Space settings in the left-hand menu.
Click ThemingIn the Theming section, click Configure Refined Toolkit.
Click Activate theming for this space.
Choose a theme.
Navigate back to the space overview.

Theming
Theme Confluence spaces to customise customize the look of all their pages within the space. Choose a ready-made theme or create your own.
In Click Space settings in the left-hand menu of your space, click Overview.
In the Theming section, select Configure Refined Toolkit.
Click the … (three dots) Change theme button > Change theme to switch to Create a different theme, or theme for this space.
Or Edit to make changes to the current theme.

Click Overview the space name in the left-hand menu of your space.
Click the … (three dots) button > Edit space overview to go to the Space Overview Editor Edit page button.

Content Layout macro
Use the Content Layout Macro to make your Confluence spaces and pages visually appealing and easy to navigate. For example, you can use modules to create navigation pathways or show recent activity in your space.
Edit a page.
Type /Content Layout, or click the + button in the top menu and search for Content Layout.
Include the macro and save the page.
Click the Start editing your Content Layout button. The Content Layout Editor works the same way as the Space Overview Editor.

Edit a page.
In the Confluence editor’s top menu, click + > View more or Other macros.
Find and select one of Refined’s UI macros.
Hit the / key or click the + in the editor toolbar and select a Refined macro.
