Now that you have installed and opened Refined Sites, let’s create a site.:

Create a Refined site

  1. Click Sites in the left-hand menu. This is the first page you see when you just opened the Refined AdministrationYou also see the Sites view when you open the Refined Sites app from Confluence or JSM.

  2. Click the + Create site button to create an entirely new site. Are you migrating from

    Server

    server or

    Data Center

    data center to

    Cloud

cloud using our migration assistant? Click the Import Server or Data Center site button instead and upload

the site you exported on Server/DC. See

    the

migration documentation to learn how to finalize your cloud

    site

    setup

    .

  3. Give the site a catchy name and URL. While you're welcome to keep this URL (formatted as yoursite.refined.site), we recommend you to set up a custom domain later: for example, intranet.yourcompany.com. A custom domain that matches your brand clearly communicates the site’s purpose and makes it easy to remember for users.

  4. Choose a style. A style helps you get started with designing your site, as it will determine the initial look of the theme and landing pages. You can further customize them to fit your branding: we’ll dive into details in step 6 of this Get Started guide.

  5. We can suggest content and a structure for your site. You can add more content later, like Confluence spaces and JSM projects. In this step, pick either one of the suggested content and structure bundles, or opt to add all content and structure manually.
