The navigation menu is your Refined site’s main menu, site header is located at the top of all pages.

Menu style
There are two styles to choose from. The content menu shows the structure of your entire site, while the breadcrumb menu shows all the current page’s parent pages.
Choose the Navigation Menu Style
Go to the Refined Administration.
Click Sites in the left-hand menu.
It includes the navigation menu which reflects the site structure.
Change the navigation menu style
Go to the site settings.
Go to the Configuration tab.
Reflects the content that you added to your site in the Site Builder, as well as its structure.
Create a drop-down menu (content menu only)
Single column:
Go to the Site Builder.
Add a Menu Folder as a parent item.
Add child items to it.
Multiple columns:
Add a Menu Folder as a parent item.
Add multiple Menu Folders to it as child items.
Add multiple child items to each of these Menu Folders.
Exclude content from the menu
In some cases, you want to add content to a site but not display it in the Navigation Menu. For example to use information from a specific Confluence space in a module, but not show it to all users.
To exclude a content item, go to the Site Builder and toggle off Show in the navigation menu in the content item’s settings. You see the settings menu when you add a new content item. To edit an existing content item, click the item’s Cogwheel > Edit.In the Navigation Menu Style section, choose Content or Breadcrumbs.
Change the header look and feel
The menu’s look and feel is determined by the site’s theme.
Add a logo to the header
Go to the Refined Administration.
Click Sites in the left-hand menu.
Select the site.
Go to the Configuration tab.
Set up the Site logo.
Site Switcher
The Site Switcher makes it easier for your users to navigate between your sites and to access other links.
Set up the Site Switcher
You can enable and manage the Site Switcher on each of your sites.
Go to the Refined Administration.
Click Sites in the left-hand menu.
Pick the site you want to work with.
Go to the Site Switcher tab.
In this tab, you can:
Enable or disable the Site Switcher for the site.
Add or remove menu items, which can be sites from your Refined instance as well as external links.
Adjust the order in which links show up in the menu.
Determine whether items open up in a new tab when users click them.
Search
Users search all important links.
Search bar
Users search the site’s content by clicking the magnifying glass at the top-right corner of your site. Click here to read which search results are included and what other ways users can search your sites.
Cogwheel menu
The cogwheel menu is only visible to administrators of the Refined siteavailable for administrators. It contains shortcuts to the Refined Administration, helpful resources, and the Atlassian Administration.
Log inLogin button
Users log in to your Refined site with their Atlassian account. While the Login button is part of the Navigation Menu by default, it can be beneficial to hide it on some of your sites. For example on public documentation sites on which the majority of users will only read information and has no reason to log in. That’s why we now offer the option to hide the button from a site:
Go to the Refined Administration.
Click Sites in the left-hand menu.
Pick the site you want to work with.
Go to the Configuration tab.
Scroll down to the Navigation Menu heading.
Toggle Display login button off.
To only give a small audience the option to log in, hide the login button and add the login URL to a module on a specific landing page on your site.

Avatar menu
The avatar menu is a personalised menu that Cloud account.
Avatar menu
The avatar menu (user menu) is only available to logged-in users.
