Use modules to add content to your homes:

  • Create navigation

  • Show Confluence content

  • Add more information

In other words, modules help you highlight what is most important to your users. For example, on this demo page we used a Search Highlight module, Navigation modules, a News module, and more.

Add modules

  1. Go to a home.

  2. Click the Pen icon in the top right corner to open up the Layout Editor.

  3. Click to Add module to the section where you want to add the module. You can easily drag and drop the module to a different position later.

  4. Enter any required parameters. Tip: for some modules it’s possible to use text variables to make their content dynamic.

CQL

Since Refined for Confluence version 6.X, it is possible to use CQL in modules. CQL is supported in the News module, Activity Stream module, Search modules, and Pages module.
