This module is only available if you have installed Refined for Jira Cloud.
The Request Types module lets users create JSM requests on your Refined site. It lists all Request Types that a user is allowed to see in a JSM project. Please note that anonymous users have to create an account to file a ticket.
To help users keep track of their requests, you can add a My Requests module on the same page.
Direct your users to Atlassian instead
We understand some customers want to lead their users to Atlassian when clicking on a request type, rather than keeping them on the Refined site. In that case, we recommend using a Navigation module instead.
Add this module to a page layout
All Refined Pages, Jira Projects, and Confluence Spaces that you add in the Site Builder get their own landing page on your Refined site. Modules are the building blocks of these pages.
Go to a page’s Layout Editor.
Hover your mouse over a spot in the layout and click the + Add module button that appears.
Edit settings
Select the module to see its menu, which appears on its right-hand side.
Click the Cogwheel.

JSM Project ID | When the Request Types module is placed on a JSM project page, it automatically shows request types from that JSM project. To keep it that way, leave the JSM project ID empty. To show request types from one or more JSM projects, specify their JSM project ID. You can only specify project IDs of JSM projects that are added to your site in the Site Builder. When the Request Types module is placed on a Refined Page, you always need to specify one or more JSM project IDs. You can only specify project IDs of JSM projects that are added to your site in the Site Builder. Separate multiple JSM project IDs with a comma. |
Portal Group ID | After adding a JSM Project ID, you can further filter request types based on one or more Portal Group IDs. |
Find IDs
To find a JSM project ID:
Go to your JSM project.
In the left-hand menu, click Channels > Help Center.
The ID is the last number of the URL. For example, when the URL ends with customer/portal/32, the ID is 32.
If you are not sure in which Portal Group your Request Type is located, go to your Service Project > Project Settings > the Portal Groups tab.
Once you know which Portal Group’s ID you need:
Go to your JSM project.
In the left-hand menu, click Channels > Help Center.
Click on a Portal Group.
The ID is the last number of the URL. For example, when a Portal Group’s URL ends with customer/portal/32/group/56, the ID is 56.
