This module is only available if you have installed Refined for Jira Cloud.

The Jira Issues module shows a list of Issues to users who are logged in to their Atlassian account. It only shows Issues they are allowed to view according to their Atlassian permissions.

Add this module to a page

All Refined Pages, Jira Projects, and Confluence Spaces that you add in the Site Builder get their own landing page on your Refined site. Modules are the building blocks of these pages.

  1. Go to the Page Builder.

  2. Hover your mouse over the desired location on the page and click the + Add module button that appears.

  3. Click Issues in the left-hand menu.

Edit the title

Simply click the module’s title to start writing and formatting. Use text variables such as $userfirstname to make this title dynamic.

Text styles

Choose the paragraph style or one of the five heading styles.

Text sizes

Available sizes range from 10 - 72 pixels.

Font

All modules use the font that you set in the theme.

Colour

There are multiple ways to select a colour:

  • Select the shade and hue at the top of the popup.

  • Enter an rgb, rgba, or hex code.

  • Click the eyedropper icon to select a colour from anywhere on the page.

  • Pick one of the recently used colours.

Use the vertical slider located in the middle of the popup to control the colour’s opacity.

Emphasis

Make the text bold, italicised, or underlined.

Alignment

Align the text to the left, centre, or right.

Lists

Create a numbered list or bullet list.

URL

Add a link to the text.

Remove formatting

Change the text back to its default look.

Edit the settings

  1. Select the module to see its menu, which appears on its right-hand side.

  2. Click the Cogwheel.

By default, all modules adjust their size to their content. If you want a fixed height instead, fill in the desired height in pixels.

Filter

Filters let you narrow down which issues from your site's Jira projects to show.

  • Simple lets you filter by label, component, project, status and creator.

  • With Dynamic, users only see issues related to them which they can filter themselves.

  • Select Advanced to filter with JQL.

Filter by label
Available when Filter is set to Basic.

Enter a label here to include only the issues that have that label in Jira. Add a dash ( - ) in front of a label to exclude its issues. Separate multiple labels with commas.

Filter by component
Available when Filter is set to Basic.

Enter a component here to only include the issues that belong to that component in Jira. Add a dash ( - ) in front of a component to exclude its issues. Separate multiple components with commas.

Filter by project
Available when Filter is set to Basic.

Leave this field empty to include all projects added to your Refined site.

To filter by project:

  • Enter one or more Project IDs, separated with commas.

  • Enter the text variable $projectids to include the projects of all the page’s child pages.

  • Enter the text variable $projectid to include only the project of which you are editing the page.

Filter by status
Available when Filter is set to Basic.

Enter a status here to only include issues with that status in Jira. Add a dash ( - ) in front of a status to exclude its issues. Separate multiple statuses with commas.

Filter by creator
Available when Filter is set to Basic.

Enter a creator's Account ID to include their issues. Add a dash ( - ) in front of a creator's ID to exclude their issues. Separate multiple IDs with commas.

Order by
Available when Filter is set to Basic.

Filter by project
Available when Filter is set to Dynamic.

The module will only show issues related to the user, which they can filter themselves:

  • All issues/Open issues/Closed issues

  • Reported by me/Assigned by me/Watched by me.

Leave the field empty to include all projects added to your Refined site, or enter one or more Jira Project IDs separated with commas.

Available when Filter is set to Advanced.

Filter with JQL. Make the filter dynamic with text variables.

Find a Project ID

  1. From your project's sidebar, select Project settings > Details.

  2. The Project ID is the number after pid= in the URL.
