Enable Confluence space homes

When this setting is disabled, clicking the title of the left-hand side menu takes users to a customisable landing page. When this setting is enabled, it takes you to the Confluence space home overview instead. Regardless of this setting, the Confluence Space Home stays accessible on your site via search, modules, or Confluence Pages.

Global vs custom space settings

Global space settings apply to all spaces on your site, except for the the spaces with custom space settings. In other words: you can use global space settings to decide the default look of your spaces, and customise specific spaces with custom space settings.

When you update global space settings, this does not update the settings of spaces with custom space settings.

Edit global space settings

  1. Head to the Refined Administration.

  2. Click Sites in the left-hand menu.

  3. Pick the site you want to work with.

  4. Click on the Audience Features tab.

Edit custom space settings

Hover your cursor on the left-hand side menu and click the Cogwheel icon that appears.
