Structure your site by adding Refined Pages.

A Refined Page isn’t the same as a Confluence page – it is an additional page made entirely in Refined and functions as a ‘bucket’ for Confluence spaces you want to group together. For example, you can use them on an intranet to gather links to HR, Teams, Offices, and News on one page.

All child items nested under a Refined Page in the Site Builder appear in a drop-down menu when you click the page’s name in the Navigation Menu.

Add a Refined Page to your site

  1. Go to the Site Builder.

  2. Choose where to add the Refined Page in your site’s structure. You can always move it to a different location later by dragging and dropping it.

    • Add it to the bottom of the Site Builder by clicking the + Add Content button.

    • Add it to a specific location in the Site Builder by hovering your cursor between content items and clicking the plus symbol that appears.

  3. Click Refined Page and set it up to your liking.

Edit a Refined Page

To edit the settings of a Refined Page:

  1. Go to the Site Builder.

  2. Click the Refined Page’s … (Three dots) > Settings.

Setting

Description

Name

Change the Refined Page’s name.

An Atlassian content item’s name is not connected to your Atlassian instance. This means that:

  • Changing the name of content in your Atlassian instance doesn’t change the name of that content in your Refined site.

  • Changing the name of Atlassian content in your Refined site doesn’t change its name in your Atlassian instance.

Page URL

Change the Refined Page’s URL.

Show in the Navigation Menu

Toggle on/off to show/hide the Refined Page in the Navigation Menu and modules.

Theme

Change the Refined Page’s theme. By default, it inherits your site’s theme.

You can also edit the page's content and structure to highlight what matters most: for example a news feed, links to other pages, or important announcements.

  1. Go to the Site Builder.

  2. Click the Refined Page’s … (Three dots) > Edit Page.
