To manage a Refined site:

  1. Go to the Refined Administration.

  2. Click Sites in the left-hand menu.

  3. Pick the site you want to work with.

Let’s take a closer look at the different tabs: Site Builder, Configuration, Permissions, and Audience Features.

Site Builder

The Site Builder is the essence of your Refined site. It’s where you add content and build the navigation menu. After adding content to your site, use the Page Builder to adjust the layout of your pages. 

Configuration

Manage the following settings:

General

  • Site name: decide what we should call your site in the Refined Administration. This name also shows up in the browser tab for your site’s visitors. 

  • Subdomain: choose your site’s URL by picking a subdomain.

  • Custom domain: set up a custom domain for your site.

  • Google Analytics: add your tracking ID to connect your site.

Logo
Add a site logo, favicon and app icon. Learn more.

Navigation Menu Style
Choose between a content menu or breadcrumbs.

Cookie Dialog
Set up a custom cookie banner.

Security
Add a custom HTML module. Please note that Refined does not support issues caused by custom HTML.

Advanced Settings
Customise your Refined site by adding your own CSS and HTML to all pages.

Refined is not supporting issues caused by custom CSS or HTML. Please note that Refined reserves the right to change the HTML structure of this product at any time. We don’t recommend you to override CSS from the product.

Delete Your Site
Delete your site including all content and settings. This cannot be undone.

Permissions

Determine who gets access to your Refined Site. Learn more.

Audience features

Manage the following settings:

Global Space Settings
Edit the layout and interaction settings for your pages and blogs. Custom space settings (on individual pages and blogs) override the global space settings. Learn more.

Knowledge Base Popup
In Jira Service Management, project admins can set up a knowledge base. Teams can use knowledge bases to write and share helpful articles like guides and FAQs. This helps customers find answers themselves rather than raising a request. Learn more.

Announcement Banners
Broadcast important updates or alerts to users. Broadcast important updates or alerts to users. Choose where you want to display announcements: the home page, a specific page, or a whole space.

Promoted Search Results
Promote popular pages in the search results.
