Use the My Requests module to show a user’s open requests in a Jira Service Desk project. Users only see content relevant to them, offering them a personalised experience.

You can add this module to your site home, category homes, and Jira projects/JSM portals.

Title

Show or hide the module title.

Title text

The module title. If left empty, the default title is My Requests.

Number of requests

The number of requests to display per page (20 by default)

Column titles

Select to show the table’s column titles.

Filter bar

Select to show the filter bar, allowing users to filter the request list.

Custom column configuration

  • Yes - use a custom column configuration.

  • No - use the default column configuration: requestType, issuekey, summary, portalName, reporter, assignee, and status.

Columns

Add field IDs to show them as columns in the request list. Separate multiple field IDs with a comma.

Use preset filter

Select Yes to enable a custom filter.

With a custom filter enabled, users can still change the filter if the Filter bar setting is enabled. The filter bar’s default state is the custom filter.

Status

Filter by status:

  • Any status (default)

  • Open requests

  • Closed requests

Reporter

Filter by reporter:

  • Created by me (default)

  • Created by anyone

  • Where I am participant

Request type

Enter a request type ID to only show results from this request type. To skip this filter, leave the field empty.

Location

Enter the location ID of a site, category or portal to only show results from that specific location.

You can find the Location ID in the Site Builder when editing a location.

To skip this filter, leave the field empty.

Advanced JQL Filter

Filter requests by using JQL. Begin the query with AND or OR. This JQL query is used in combination with the other module configuration to create the filter.

Example: created > 2022-01-01
