Issue Types module

The Issue Types module lets users create Jira Issues on your Refined site. It only shows issue types that a user is allowed to see according to their Atlassian permissions.

To give users an overview of created Issues, add a Jira Issues module to the same page.

Add this module to a landing page

Due to maintenance, it’s temporarily not possible for customers whose accounts were created after 20 August 2023 to add Jira Software projects to Refined sites.

All Refined Pages, Confluence spaces, Jira Software projects and JSM projects that you add in the Site Builder get their own landing page on your Refined site. Modules are the building blocks of these pages.

Go to the Page Builder.
Hover your mouse over the desired location on the page and click the + Add module button that appears.
Click Issues in the left-hand menu.

Edit the title

Simply click the module’s title to start writing and formatting. You can use text variables to make the text dynamic, for example to display the user’s first name.

Edit the settings

Select the module to see its menu, which appears on its right-hand side.
Click the Cogwheel.
Edit the settings, which are divided over multiple tabs:

Module tab

Setting	Description
Fixed height	By default, all modules adjust their size to their content. To set a specific height instead, fill in the desired height in pixels.

Issue Types tab

Setting	Description
Layout	Icon includes the icons of the issue types as set up in the Jira Software project. List includes the icons and descriptions of the issue types as set up in the Jira Software project.
Item size	Choose between Small, Medium, and Large.
Columns	Specify how many columns the module should have. Icon layouts are more compact than list layouts, which gives you space for more columns.
Project ID	When this module is placed on a Jira project page, enter the text variable $projectid to show issues from that Jira project. When this module is placed on a Refined Page, or if you just want to show issues from another project, enter a Project ID.

Find a Project ID

From your project's sidebar, select Project settings > Details.
The Project ID is the number after pid= in the URL.
