With Refined Toolkit, you can easily turn the space overview into a sleek landing page that helps users navigate your space.
Before customising a page overview for the first time, you need to activate Refined Toolkit.
Add content
When you have activated the Refined Toolkit space overview, you can only add modules. To use both modules and macros, disable it to go back to the standard Confluence space overview.

In the left-hand menu of your space, click Overview.
Click the … (three dots) button > Edit space overview.
You are now in the the Space Overview Editor where you can set up your Space Overview with the help of modules.

In the left-hand menu of your space, click Overview.
Click the … (three dots) button > click the Space overview enabled button so it turns grey.
The space overview now acts as a Regular Confluence page where you can add:

Add modules
+ Add Module buttons are located in different locations in the Editor – click them to add modules where you see fit in your design. To speed up the page creation, you can duplicate modules. Go to the top-right corner of a module and click the Duplicate icon.
Add structure by using sections
Sections act as containers for modules and help you organise your page. Hover above or below an existing section, and add a new section by clicking the + button.
Arrange sections
Drag and drop sections to rearrange them, using the handle on the left. You can also click buttons above and below the handle to move sections up and down.
Divide a section into columns
Within a section, you can cluster modules into columns. Click the + Add Column button located in the top-right corner of the section. To change the width of a column, click and drag the column’s border.
Restore a previous version
You can always go back to a previously published version of the page.
Click the Version button at the top of the Editor.
Click Restore for the version you want to use.
Export and import a layout
If you want to reuse a layout, you can export it and import it to another page.
Click the Import/export button at the top of the Editor.
Templates
We have designed templates to help you get started with the layout of your pages. The templates are just a starting point: you can customise the modules and add/remove as many as you’d like to further customise the page.
Click the Templates button at the top of the Editor and choose a template that fits your needs.
If you change your mind and want to pick another template, make sure that you publish your page first, so you can restore the page version later.
