Due to maintenance, it’s temporarily not possible for customers whose accounts were created after 20 August 2023 to add Jira Software projects to Refined sites.
If you have any questions, please contact us.
When you add a Jira Software project, you create a customisable landing page for the project. Users can create and view issues on this page. This is useful when you want to add an issue tracker to your site, for example on an intranet to show colleagues what your department is working on.
Add a Jira Software project
You can add a Jira Software project to as many sites as you want.
Go to the Site Builder.
To add a project to the bottom of the Site Builder, click the + Add Content button.
To add a project to a specific location in the Site Builder, hover your cursor between content items. Click the plus button that appears to add the project as a parent item or the insert button to add it as a child item. Learn about parent and child items.
Select the projects you’d like to add to your Refined site – you can add several at once. The list displays five projects at a time, you can use the search function to find more. Please note that you can only see projects that you are permitted to view in your Jira instance.
Edit a project’s settings
After adding the project to your site, you can further edit its settings by clicking the content item’s … (Three dots) > Settings.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Name | Change the landing page’s name. Note that this name is not connected to your Jira instance. This means that:
|
Show in the Navigation Menu | In some cases, you may want to add a project to a site but not display it in the Navigation Menu. For example to use information from a specific project in a module, but not show it to all users side-wide |
Theme | Change the project’s theme. By default, it inherits your site’s theme. |
Connected with | See to which Jira Software project the landing page is connected. |
Customise the project’s landing page
Use the Page Builder to customise the project’s landing page and highlight what matters most: for example by adding an issue tracker that shows upcoming product releases.
Access the Page Builder by clicking a content item’s … (Three dots) > Edit Page.
