Jira Service Management projects

By adding a Jira Service Management (JSM) project to a site, you create a customizable landing page. Logged-in users can create and view requests on this page. For example, this lets you add HR and IT portals on your intranet. If you add a knowledge base to the project in native JSM, it’s also visible on your Refined site.

Add and edit a JSM project

Go to the site structure to add JSM projects and edit their settings. You can add multiple projects at once, and you can only add projects that you are permitted to view in your JSM instance.

You can add a JSM project to as many sites as you want.

Edit the content and style of the customizable landing page. For example, you can show a user their open requests.

Add a preview image and text.

Description

Name

Change what the project is called in Refined. This doesn’t change the name of the project in your JSM instance. Likewise, changing the name of a project in your JSM instance also doesn’t change the name of that project in your Refined site.

The project’s name appears in the site structure and the site’s navigation menu.

Show in the Navigation Menu

Show the project in the navigation menu and in the Site Navigation module. In some cases, you may want to hide a project. For example to use information from a project only in a specific landing page module.

Theme

By default, the JSM project inherits your site’s main theme. You can change the theme here.
