Available in Refined for Jira version 3.1 and up.

A default request type helps your users contact you when they can’t find what they're looking for. They see the default request type when:

  • They search on your site but there are no search results to show.

  • They aren’t permitted to view a page.

  • They end up on a Content not found page.

Set up a default request type

  1. Go to the Refined Administration.

  2. Click the Jira Service Management tab.

  3. Scroll down to the Default Request Type section.

  4. Click the Configure button.

  5. Choose a Service project and pick the Request type you want to use.
