Image module

An image without any text or URL.

To add an image with overlaying text, we recommend creating a module or section with text and adding a background image to it.

Add this module to a page layout

All Refined Pages, Jira Projects, and Confluence Spaces that you add in the Site Builder get their own landing page on your Refined site. Modules are the building blocks of these pages.

Go to a page’s Layout Editor.
Hover your mouse over a spot in the layout and click the + Add module button that appears.

Edit the settings

Select the module to see its menu, which appears on its right-hand side.
Click the Cogwheel.

Setting	Description
Link to	Add a URL to make the module clickable.
Background	Add an Image, Colour, or Gradient as background – or turn off the background by selecting None. There are multiple ways to pick a colour in the colour selection popup: Select the shade and hue at the top of the popup. Enter an rgb, rgba, or hex code. Click the eyedropper icon to select a colour from anywhere in the layout. Pick one of the recently used colours. Use the vertical slider located in the middle of the popup to control the colour’s opacity.
Padding inside	Set the amount of space between the module’s content and its border. Choose between Tight, Default, Spacious and Custom, which lets you fill in a specific amount of pixels.
Element alignment	Align the content to the left, middle, or right of the module.
Drop shadow	Add a shadow behind the module.
Fixed height	By default, all modules adjust their size to their content. If you want a fixed height instead, fill in the desired height in pixels.

Image size	Choose between Extra small, Small, Medium, Large and Custom, which lets you fill in a specific amount of pixels.
Darken image	Drag the slider to the right to darken the image.
