You can choose whether or not authors are displayed at the top of Confluence pages and blog posts.

  • Showing them adds a personal touch to internal sites such as intranets, and makes it clear who the reader can contact if they have questions about the page.

  • Hiding them lets contributors stay anonymous, for example on public documentation sites.

Display page authors

Go to space settings and toggle on Display authors.

Interactions with other space settings

This setting is not available when the Embedded Confluence pages space setting is enabled. However, the embedded pages will still show a page’s author and when it was last updated, because this is standard information on a native Confluence page.
