Site Administration

You manage the settings and content of each of your sites in the Site Administration.

Access the Site Administration

Go to the Refined Administration.
Click Sites in the left-hand menu.
Select the site.

You can also go to the Site Administration directly from the site. In the site’s navigation menu, click the Cogwheel for quick access to different parts of the Site Administration. You can also use keyboard shortcuts.

Site Administration anatomy

The Site Administration consists of five tabs.

Site Builder tab

The Site Builder is the essence of your Refined site. It’s where you add content and build the navigation menu. After adding content to your site, use the Page Builder to adjust the layout of your pages.

Configuration tab

Section	Description
General	Site name. Decide what we should call your site in the Refined Administration. This name also shows up in the browser tab for your site’s visitors. Subdomain. Customize your site’s URL. Custom domain: learn more about custom domains for your site. Google Analytics: learn more about Analytics and SEO.
Logo	Personalize your site with logos: Site logo. Shown at the top of all your site’s pages. Favicon. Shown in the user’s browser tab. App icon. Visible when a user adds a link on the home screen of their mobile device. You can upload images in the formats .ico, .png, and .gif. Want to have your logo as your site’s background? Navigation menu style	Choose the style of the navigation menu: content menu or breadcrumbs.
Cookie dialog	Set up a custom cookie dialog.
Security	Add a custom HTML module. Please note that Refined does not support issues caused by custom HTML. Enable the “Log out from Atlassian” prompt.
Advanced settings	Error rendering macro 'excerpt-include' : No link could be created for 'Advanced site building'. Customize your Refined site by adding your own CSS and HTML to all pages.
Sitemap	Create a sitemap for your site.
Delete your site	Delete your site including all content and settings. This can't be undone.

Audience features tab

Section	Description
Global space settings	Space settings let you edit the layout and interaction settings for your pages and blogs. Custom space settings (on individual pages and blogs) override the global space settings.
Jira Service Management	Enable Display assignee on tickets to show to whom a JSM ticket is assigned in the ticket view. There are multiple ways of connecting knowledge bases to your sites. If you connected a knowledge base to a JSM project, users get to see articles on a one-by-one basis in a popup. Enabling Article link adds a link to the bottom of the popup, which directs users to native Confluence. This can help users, for example when the original Confluence page includes macros that are not supported in the popup on the Refined site.
Announcement banners	Announcement banners let you highlight important updates or alerts on your site. Choose where you want to display announcements: the home page, a specific page, or a whole space.
Promoted search results	Promote content to users when they search for specific terms. This helps users find their way on your site more easily.

Site Switcher tab

The Site Switcher makes it easier for your users to navigate between your sites and to access other links.
