We have retired the outdated page and footer editor. All pages and footers are now edited with the Page Builder.
The easiest way to see if you need to take action on a site, is to go to the site structure. If you need to update a page or footer, you’ll see an orange button. Simply click it to open that page or footer with the Page Builder. Adjust the page if needed, and click Publish.
Don’t worry if a page or footer looks slightly different than expected when opened in the Page Builder. The Page Builder is an editor, so you’re working on a draft and you can adjust the design. The new version of the page is only visible to end-users once you publish it.
Additionally, pages and footers that need an update are marked with a label on your site. This label is only visible to administrators, so regular site users can’t see them.
Pages
When you open a page in the Page Builder for the first time, the design may look different than expected if you use:
Custom CSS
HTML modules
Cards modules
Footers
The look of a footer used to be determined by settings located in two different places: in the Theme Editor and in the editor on your site. This used to be the outdated Layout Editor, which is now replaced by the Page Builder. Now you conveniently control all settings right in the Page Builder.
Because we moved the settings from the Theme Editor into the Page Builder, the footer may look differently than expected at first. It’s easy to change the design in the Page Builder before publishing the page. Additionally, the design may look different than expected if you use custom CSS on the site or HTML modules in the footer.
