Add titles and links to

announcement banners

Now, in addition to the main text of your message, you can display titles and links in Announcement Banners announcement banners:

• Titles: Give the announcement a title displayed in larger font above the main message.

• Links: Add a link displayed on the right-hand side of the banner with your choice of text.

Option to exclude sites from the Site Switcher

Just as you can in Refined for Confluence, now you can opt to exclude sites from the Site Switcher when editing or creating sites in Refined for Jira.

New $textVariable for Portal Description

We added a couple of new Text Variables to align with the newer naming scheme of Atlassian.

• $serviceprojectdesc New: the service project’s description

• $servicedeskname (Deprecated) → $serviceprojectname New$servicedeskid (Deprecated) → $serviceprojectid Newis replaced by $serviceprojectname

• $servicedeskid is replaced by $serviceprojectid

Added in-product info page for Refined for Confluence

In Refined for Jira 3.4 we introduced a Refined for Confluence integration. If this is not setup set up, you’ll instead see an info page about Refined for Confluence.

Organizations have been removed from the user/avatar menu

In prior versions, the Organizations list was included in the user/avatar menu. For large instances with a high volume of organizations, however, users were forced to scroll through a long list of organizations, diminishing the utility of the drop-down. Since the organization filter is available on My Requests— where the organization links to anyway—the Organizations section was removed.
