Users can choose to give the feedback anonymously or tied to their user account.

Access to feedback

What access a user can see depends on their Confluence permissions:

  • Users with Confluence Page Viewpermissions can see, edit, or delete the feedback they provided. They can’t see others' feedback.

  • Users with Confluence Add/Edit Pages permissions can see everyone’s feedback. They can mark feedback items as resolved or unresolved.

If you disable the feedback feature, users can still view previously-provided feedback.

Access a page’s feedback by clicking the speech bubble icon at the top of the page.

On your Refined site, unresolved feedback is marked with a red number on the speech bubble. In Confluence, you can see the red number when you click on the Refined logo at the top of the page.

To find an overview of all feedback on a Refined site:

  1. Go to the site and log in.

  2. Click your avatar in the top-right corner > Feedback.

If you have unresolved feedback on your site, a red number appears on your avatar.

Interactions with other space settings

When the Embedded Confluence pages space setting is enabled, the feedback button is located at the bottom of the page instead of at the top.
