The Expand and Expand Container macros expand macro let you organize content into expandable items. The look of the macro may differ depending on your Confluence editor’s version. The macro setup works the same.

Add expands to a page

  1. Hit the / key or click the + in the editor toolbar.

  2. Find and select the Refined Expand Container macro.

  3. Place a Refined Expand macros expand macro inside the container, and add content under it. Repeat this step to create multiple expandable items.

In general, we don’t support adding third party macros within the UI Expand(s) macros. As we continually work on improving our apps, please let us know your suggestions if you need added third party macro support.

Edit the macro

Click the macro > the Pencil pencil icon to edit the macro’s settings.
