The Jira Issues module shows a list of issues from one or more Jira Software projects. It only includes issues that a user is allowed to see according to their Atlassian permissions.

  1. Open the Page Builder on the page you want to edit. This can be:

  2. Go to a landing page on your site.

  3. Click the Edit page button.

  4. Hover your mouse over the desired location on the page and click the + Add module button that appears.

  5. Click Issues in the left-hand menu.

  6. Select the Jira Issues module.

Edit the title

Simply click the module’s title to start writing and formatting. You can (heading), to edit it. There are various formatting options, including paragraph/heading styles. Tip: use text variables to make the text dynamic, for example to display the user’s first name.

Edit the settings

  1. Select Click the module to see open its settings menu, which appears on its right-hand side.

  2. Click the Cogwheel.

  3. Edit the settings, which are divided over multiple tabs:

Fixed height

By default, all modules adjust their size to their content. To set a fixed height instead, fill in the desired height in pixels.

Columns

  • Simple lets you choose from the most commonly used columns.

  • Advanced lets you choose more customized columns.

  • Advanced supports the field types string, number, user, date, datetime, and array.

Column titles

Show or hide the titles of each column.

Filter

Filters let you narrow down which issues from your site's Jira Software projects to show.

  • Simple lets you filter by label, component, project, status and creator.

  • Dynamic lets users only see issues related to them which they can filter themselves.

  • Advanced lets you filter with JQL.

Filter by label
Available when Filter is set to Basic Simple.

Enter a label you use in Jira Software to include only issues with that label. Add a dash ( - ) in front of a label to exclude its issues. Separate multiple labels with commas.

Filter by component
Available when Filter is set to Basic.

Enter a component you use in Jira Software to only include the issues that belong to that component. Add a dash ( - ) in front of a component to exclude its issues. Separate multiple components with commas.

Filter by project
Available when Filter is set to Basic Simple.

Leave this field empty to To include all projects added to your Refined site, leave this field empty.

Show To show one or more specific projects by entering , enter their Project IDs, separated with commas.

Filter by status
Available when Filter is set to Basic Simple.

Filter by creator
Available when Filter is set to Basic Simple.

Enter a creator's Account ID to include their issues. Add a dash ( - ) in front of a creator's ID to exclude their issues. Separate multiple IDs with commas.

Order by
Available when Filter is set to Basic Simple.

  • Creation date (descending: newest first)

  • Creation date (ascending: oldest first)

  • Last modified (descending: newest first)

  • Last modified (descending: oldest first)

  • Priority (ascending: lowest first)

  • Priority (descending: highest first)

Number of items
Available when Filter is set to Basic.

Decide how many items you want to show. Users can browse more items with the arrows at the bottom of the list.

Filter by project
Available when Filter is set to Dynamic.

The module will only show issues related to the user, which they can filter themselves:

  • All issues/Open issues/Closed issues

  • Reported by me/Assigned by me/Watched by me.

Leave the field empty to include all projects added to your Refined site. To include only specific projects, enter one or more Jira Project IDs separated with commas.

Filter with JQL
Available when Filter is set to Advanced.

Make the JQL filter dynamic with text variables.

Find a Project ID

  1. From your project's sidebar, select Project settings > Details.

  2. The Project ID is the number after pid= in the URL.
