Combine the power of Jira Service Management (JSM) and Confluence on your sites, by adding Request Type links to allowing users to create requests directly on your Confluence pages.

For example, this can simplify HR processes on your intranet: when reading the employee handbook, a user can quickly file a request on-page. When the request is sent, they’re back on the same employee handbook page. See the images below (click to enlarge).

To do this, you need both Refined Sites for Confluence Cloud and Refined Sites for Jira Service Management JSM Cloud. If you only have Refined for Confluence Cloud, these links will open in the native JSM view.

Add a JSM

Request Type

  1. Add the JSM project to the Site Builder site structure.

  2. Go to the project on your site.

  3. Click a request type and copy the URL.

  4. Paste the URL in a Confluence page.

  5. Visit the Confluence page on your site to see the results.
