The UI Expand macro helps you keep your pages compact, by dividing information into expandable items. The look of the macro may differ depending on your Confluence editor’s version. The macro setup works the same.
Live example
Add UI Expands and UI Expand macros to a page
This solution consists of an outer macro which is a container for inner macros (the expendable items). In the example above, we created one UI Expands macro that contains two UI Expand macros.
In the Confluence editor’s top menu, click + > View more or Other macros.
Find and select the UI Expands (with an -s) macro.
Inside the UI Expands macro, place as many UI Expand (without an -s) macros as you want. Click Insert > View more or Other Macros and select the UI Expand macro. Add content below each UI Expand bar.
Please note that it is not possible to add third party macros into the UI Expand(s) macros.
Edit the UI Expand macro
Macro parameters determine the behaviour of a macro. To change the macro parameters, click the macro > the Pencil icon.
