Due to maintenance, it’s temporarily not possible for customers whose accounts were created after 20 August 2023 to add Jira projects to Refined sites.

If you have any questions, please contact us.

Jira projects

By adding a JSM project to a site, you create a customizable landing page. Users can create and view issues on this page. For example, add an issue tracker to your intranet to show colleagues what your department is working on.

Add and edit a Jira project

Go to the site structure to add Jira projects and edit their settings. You can add multiple projects at once, and you can only add projects that you are permitted to view in your Jira instance.

You can add a Jira project to as many sites as you want.

Use the Page Builder to edit the customizable landing page. For example, you can show a user which issues you’re currently working on and which ones you’ve recently completed.

Add a preview image and text.

Setting

Description

Name

Change what the project is called in Refined. This doesn’t change the name of the project in your Jira instance. Likewise, changing the name of a project in your Jira instance also doesn’t change the name of that project in your Refined site.

The project’s name appears in the site structure and the site’s navigation menu.

Show in the Navigation Menu

Show the project in the navigation menu and in the Site Navigation module.

In some cases, you may want to add a project to a site but not display it in the Navigation Menu. For example to use information from a specific project in a module, but not show it to all users side-wide.

Theme

By default, the JSM project inherits your site’s theme. You can change the theme here.
