The Content Layout macro lets you use modules on your Confluence pages. Modules make your Confluence space dynamic and interactive, which helps users find the right content.

How to use the Content Layout macro
In the Confluence editor’s top menu, click Insert > Other macros.
Find and select the Content Layout macro.
Save the page to go out of Edit mode and into View mode.
Click the Start editing your Content Layout button to add modules to the page.
Known limitations
Limitation | Workaround |

When a page’s name is changed, the images disappear. | Add your images to the space home. Get the URL for the images, then use this to get the images into the modules of the Content Layout macro. |
When you copy a page that includes a Content Layout macro, the layout is not duplicated with it. | Before copying the page, export the layout from the original page and import it into a new Content Layout macro located on another page. |
