Blogs
Blog spaces let you present blog posts in a clean, reader-friendly way. You can add them to a dedicated blog site or any of your other Refined sites.
Blog site
The purpose of a blog site is to group all blogs together. The blog site’s main layout page consolidates blogs from all the blog spaces that you added. This provides users with one central location to see blogs from different spaces. It’s also possible to see the blogs per space.
You can create special themes for your blog site in the theme editor.
Users can access your blog site through: (your domain).com/blog

Blogs on a global or additional site site
To create a site that contains Confluence spaces as well as blog spaces, add blog spaces to a global or additional site. On these sites, blog spaces follow your site’s theme. If you prefer a special look for your blogs, consider creating a blog site with a dedicated blog theme instead.

Control News module/macro content using the News System
If you are looking to show blog posts on a site home or category home, use the News module. To show blog posts on pages, user dashboards, and space layouts, use the News macro.
When you don’t want to include every blog in a News module or News macro, you can use the News System to easily control which blogs will show up.
a. Configure your News module to only show blogs with the Confluence label visible_on_dashboard.
b. Configure your News macro to Type = News.Go to Refined Administration > Configuration.
Under Theme configuration, go to General > News system > select Enable.
Your blogs now have a new button. Clicking it adds the label visible_on_dashboard to a blog, making it show up in the News module/macro that your configured earlier.
