Support for Jira 8.6

In this version we have addressed theming collisions that could occur when running the Refined theme with the auto-enabled theming from Jira Service Desk in Jira 8.6. 

Compatibility with Scriptrunner Behaviours

Addressed an issue where for example making fields mandatory using scriptrunner behaviours wouldn't work from the themed Refined portal.

Translations for JSD app works

In this version we have addressed an issue where the external app Translations for JSD didn't function properly. 

Signup page now themed when accessed through mail. 

If Refined theming is globally activated and someone navigates through mail for signup, the signup page is now themed with the global theme.

Other fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the theme preview in the theme editor. 

  • If no configuration regarding confluence pages or questions is made to the  knowledge base module, it now fallbacks to pages.

  • Custom Request type module icons are now resized appropriately depending on icon size setting for  Request Types module

  • Fixed an issue when search query included a percent character (%)

  • Shows an error message if upload attachments fail

Improved request type search

In this version we have improved searching of request types when the search is performed on a site or a category.

Other fixes

  • Fixed an issue where labels were not correctly included or excluded in a Knowledge Base module.

  • Fixed an issue where space keys were not correctly excluded from the search in a Search Highlight module.

Other fixes

  • Fixed an issue where projects could show up twice in the "Service desks & categories" list. 

  • Edit category dialog will be closed when the category is deleted.

  • The Refined login page now respects sign up link settings.

  • You can now properly exclude labels using dash ( - ) when filtering using a Knowledge Base module. 

  • Links to portals with trailing slashes ( / ) no longer leads to blank pages.

  • Whitespace reserved for StatusPage updates no longer shows unless there's a status page announcement to be shown.

Search results

  • With this release Atlassian added support for showing more than three search results in a default JSD to Confluence KB setup, and in this release we've increased the number of search results to five for version JSD 4.2 and up.
    JSD 4.2: Searching in the Help Center will show you five hits, and searching on the portal will also show you five hits.
    Pre JSD 4.2: Searching in the Help Center will show you several hits, searching the portal will show you five hits.

    We intend to improve this in upcoming versions.

  • Improved German translations and fixes for broken characters in Spanish translations.

  • Trailing URL slashes now redirects properly for /portal/{id}/ category/{key}/ and site/{key}/

This release adds support for the newest JIRA & JSD versions! 

Error when installing/enabling the app

On some instances there could occur an error message when installing the app. Reinstalling would fix the issue, but now the core issue has been resolved.

Setting group permission in the layout editor.

In Refined v.2.1.2 there was an issue where you couldn't select user groups from a dropdown when configuring the section settings of the layout editor.

Other fixes

  • Now properly serving a site logo for anonymous users if viewable for anonymous users.

  • Fixed an issue where the font color was different for navigation highlight and navigation icon modules placed in the footer

  • Fixed an issue with the footer preview not rendering correctly

Support for Statuspage integration

In this release we've made sure to be compatible with the  Statuspage for Jira Service Desk app. Statuspage incidents and updates will now show up on the portal of the connected JSD project. You can read more on the integration here   Statuspage display.

Logout issue when using SSO

In this release we've addressed an issue where logouts weren't properly identified if you are using an SSO add-on. 

Custom workflow status names now reflected

If you've set up custom workflow status names these will now display properly. 

Users wrongly redirected

Users are properly redirected to the correct site after logging in.. 

Other fixes

  • Status colors now properly displayed when filtering on 'Shared with organizations'.

  • Previewing your current layout draft now works properly.

  • Fixed an issue where positioning a background image in the theme editor didn't work in IE11.
