Tab layouts for narrow containers

If you have multiple tabs with long names in a narrow container they will now render such that they won't overflow or take up multiple rows due to their titles.

XSS vulnerability resolved

We wish to advise our customers of a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects the UI Button macro and UI Image macro macros. Affected versions are Refined Toolkit for Confluence Server 1.0 - 2.2.5.

Risk Assessment

The vulnerability allows an attacker to inject scripts that are run when the button is clicked. The attacker needs to have permission to add or edit Confluence pages or blog posts in order to exploit the vulnerability.

Fixed Versions

This issue is resolved and released in version 2.2.7. We strongly recommend you update to this version as soon as possible.

Announcing Refined Toolkit for Confluence Data Center

Early next year we're planning on launching a Data Center approved version of Refined Toolkit for Confluence.

Data Center approved apps will follow the same annual subscription model as your Data Center host products, meaning it will be a paid version of the app (read more about it here). 

Note that the Server version of Refined Toolkit will continue to be free of charge!

With this comes guarantees that the app has been tested to perform at scale and being eligible for our enhanced Data Center support SLA. It will also allow us to further improve the app and continue to add features. More information will be available when the release get's closer. If you have any questions regarding this, don't hesitate to contact us.

Refined Toolkit on Confluence Mobile

This release enables all Toolkit macros to be rendered using Confluence Mobile! 

Other fixes

  • Fixed issue where setting sorting options on UI Children or UI Children Cards would crash if no page children were present.

  • Left, center and right-aligned images now display properly within tabs or steps macros. 

  • Fixed an issue where PDF Export would render UI Expand titles as headings.

  • Fixed documentation links for macros to point to the proper documentations.

We've added support for Confluence 6.10 and also made sure that RefinedToolkit is compatible with Confluence 6.10 Read-only mode for Data center. 

While in Read-only mode no write operations can be made meaning you will not be able to  apply custom colors to UI Button and UI Textbox.

Added support for PDF export

All macros are now displayed when exporting a page to PDF. The macros are styled separately for PDF so that all content is included and easy to read. 

The following changes are made when exporting to PDF:

  • All UI Tabs macro are shown as separate boxes in succession. 

  • The UI Expand macro macro is expanded and styled as a contained box.

  • Some minor limitations apply such as UI Steps macro styling (number headers are square, not round).

Added support for nested macros

UI Steps macro and UI Tabs macro can now contain nested steps and tabs macros while maintaining the correct count and layout. 

Supporting Confluence 6.0

In this release we've added support for Confluence 6. Concurrent editing for all UI-macros!

  • The UI Tabs macro macro now works with titles containing Cyrillic characters.
