You still edit Confluence pages and blogs in native Confluence, and JSM projects in native JSM. Due to the parallel SaaS setup of Refined Sites, the changes are instantly reflected on the Refined sites that contain these spaces and projects.

If you prefer to edit Confluence pages directly on the Refined site, enable Embedded Confluence pages.

It’s easy to access native Confluence and JSM from your Refined sites, and vice versa:


Go from a Refined site to native Confluence

This is the standard way of editing Confluence pages and blogs. To edit pages directly on the Refined site instead, enable Embedded pages.

On a Confluence page on your Refined site, look for the options at the top-right side of the page. The following buttons only visible to users who have Confluence permissions to edit the page:

Edit the page in Confluence

  • Click the (blue star) Pencil.

  • Or use keyboard shortcut E.

View the page in Confluence

  • Click the (blue star) three dots button > (blue star) Open page in Confluence.

  • Or use keyboard shortcut Shift + the letter O.

Create a new page in Confluence

  • Click the (blue star) three dots button > click (blue star) Create new page in Confluence.

  • Or use keyboard shortcut C.

On a landing page of a Confluence space on your Refined site, click the (blue star)arrow next to the “Edit page” button and click (blue star) View space in Confluence. Or use keyboard shortcut Shift + the letter O.

Go from native Confluence to a Refined site

  1. Go to a Confluence page.

  2. In the breadcrumb navigation, click the Refined logo.

  3. Select the site you want to visit.

Go from a Refined site to the native JSM project

  • Click the (blue star) arrow next to the “Edit page” button and click View project in Jira.

  • Or use keyboard shortcut Shift + the letter O.

Go from a native JSM project to a Refined site

Go to a JSM project. In the left-hand menu, click Refined to see all Refined sites that include this JSM project. Click a site to go to the project’s landing page.
