This module is only available if you have Refined Sites for Jira Service Management Cloud.

Due to maintenance, it’s temporarily not possible for customers whose accounts were created after 20 August 2023 to add Jira projects to Refined sites.

The Issue Types module lets users create Jira Issues on your Refined site. It only shows issue types that a user is allowed to see according to their Atlassian permissions.

Add this module to a page

  1. Open the Page Builder on the page you want to edit. This can be:

  2. Hover your mouse over the desired location on the page and click the + Add module button that appears.

  3. Click Issues in the left-hand menu.

To give users an overview of created Issues, add a Jira Issues module to the same page.

Edit the title

Simply click the module’s title to start writing and formatting. You can use text variables to make the text dynamic, for example to display the user’s first name.

Edit the settings

  1. Click the module to open its settings menu, which appears on its right-hand side.

  2. Edit the settings, which are divided over multiple tabs:

Fixed height

By default, all modules adjust their size to their content. To set a specific height instead, fill in the desired height in pixels.

  • Icon includes the icons of the issue types as set up in the Jira project.

  • List includes the icons and descriptions of the issue types as set up in the Jira project.

Item size

Choose between Small, Medium, and Large.

Columns

Specify how many columns the module should have. Icon layouts are more compact than list layouts, which gives you space for more columns.

Project ID

To include all projects added to your site, leave this field empty.

To show one or more specific projects, enter their Project IDs separated with commas.

To show dynamic content, enter a text variable:

  • Is the module placed on a Refined page? Enter $projectids to show issue types from all Jira projects that are grouped under this Refined Page in the site structure.

  • Is the module placed on Jira project landing page? Enter $projectid to show issue types from only the landing page’s Jira project.

Find a Project ID

  1. From your project's sidebar, select Project settings > Details.

  2. The Project ID is the number after pid= in the URL.
