With Refined, you can Connect users to categories and spaces. The Users in Category macro displays users that are connected to a category. For example, on an intranet you can use it to show which users work on an HR project and which roles they have.

This macro is not related to category permissions. It is simply a way of displaying users who are organisationally connected to the category, for example to let users know who to contact.
