Each site and each (sub)category has its own home page. Think of them as landing pages with a layout that you can customise to help users navigate the site or category. You edit the content and structure of site homes and category homes in the Layout Editor.

Access the Layout Editor
To edit a site or category home, go to the home and click the … Three dots in the top right corner > Edit site/category home. You are now in the Layout Editor.

Since Refined for Confluence version 6.X, it is possible to use CQL in the News module, Activity Stream module, Search modules, and Pages module. It is possible to use Refined sites and categories in a CQL statement:

Structure your page using sections
Sections act as containers for modules and help you organise your page. Hover
Create sections
Add a new section by hovering above or below an existing section , and add a new section by clicking the + button.
Arrange sections
Drag and drop sections to rearrange them, using the handle on the left. You can also click buttons above and below the handle to move sections up and down.

Titles. Add a title and secondary title, which will show at the top of the section. You can set the alignment of the title in the page’s theme.
Background. Set the background to either default (following the page’s theme) or transparent (shown on top of the theme background).
View Permissions. Decide who is able to view this section.
Restore a previous version
You can always go back to a previously published version of the page.
Click the Version button at the top of the editor.
Click Restore for the version you want to use.
Export and import a layout
If you want to reuse a layout, you can export it and import it to another page. Click the Import/export button at the top of the Layout Editor. Note that the last published version is downloaded: drafts are discarded.
