View Permissions
View Permissions let you control which content different users get to see. You can manage permissions on a site-level, category-level, and per section on your site homes and category homes.
Refined’s View Permissions will only override Atlassian’s Space permissions after you activate manual category permissions in Refined Administration > Configuration > Category.
Sites and categories
To set View Permissions for sites and categories:
Head to the Refined Administration > Site Builder.
Click the Cogwheel of a site or category > Edit.
Go to View permission and specify who should be able to view the site or category: anonymous users, logged-in users, or specified user groups.Â
In the Site Builder, a site or category will show a closed lock icon if View Permissions are set.
Sections on site homes and category homes
To set View Permissions for a site home or category home:
Head to the page on your Refined site that you want to edit.
Click the Pencil button to open the Layout Editor.
Click a section’s Pencil icon.
Specify who should be able to view the site or category: anonymous users, logged-in users, or specified user groups.Â
If you are not permitted to see a section of content on the site home or category home, you can still see and edit it in the Layout Editor.
