For the Requests in a Service Desk Portals, we've added an option to your requests either show with activity on top, or activity on bottom.

Note: This setting is global and applies to all your portal requests.

We've also added the option to show assignee on the requests.

How it works

Open Refined Administration, go to Jira Service Desk tab.

In the Request View setting, choose to either have the details of the request on top, and comments below, or the details below and the comments on top.

Note: This setting is global and will apply to all JSD projects within Jira Service Desk.

Display assignee

Use this option to let customers know who is working on their request.

Note: This setting is global and will apply to all JSD projects within Jira Service Desk. When no one is assigned on the request, it will simply say unassigned.

By default, assignee is not shown on requests.

The assignee will be visible in the requests page, the my requests list, in approvals and request view.

Request view settings

In Jira Service Desk, when a customer interacts on a request, the details of the request are shown in the bottom of the request page, and comments are added on top. We've had some feedback from our customers that they would like to switch this around, having the details on top and the comments added from the bottom. If this is what you prefer, make sure to take at the layout mode setting.

Details on bottom, comments on top

Details on top, comments on bottom

By default, details are on bottom, comments on top for requests.
