Combine the power of Jira Service Management (JSM) and Confluence on your sites, by adding Request Type links to your Confluence pages. This can for example simplify HR processes on your intranet: when reading the employee handbook, a user can quickly file a request on-page. When the request is sent, they’re back on the same employee handbook page and can carry on reading or browsing the space.. See the images below (click to enlarge).

To do this, you need both Refined for Confluence Cloud and Refined for Jira Service Management Cloud. If you only have Refined for Confluence Cloud, these links will open in the native Jira Service Management view.

Add a JSM Request Type link to a Confluence page

  1. Go to your Jira Service Management project > Help Center.

  2. Click on the request type that you want to add to the Confluence Page.

  3. Copy the URL and paste it in the text on a Confluence Page.

  4. Visit the Confluence Page on your site to see the results.
