AI Search
Help your users find information faster on your Refined sites. AI suggests questions based on the user’s search terms, and generates answers based on content on your site.
To get started:
Go to the Refined Administration.
In the Sites overview, select a site.
Click on the Search settings tab.
Turn on AI search:
AI in the “Raise a request” tab of the search results will generate questions based on knowledge base articles in JSM projects added to your Refined site.
AI in the “Pages & news” tab of the search results will use Confluence Spaces on your Refined Site.
Managing permissions
AI search can be limited based on Atlassian permissions.
Confluence and JSM administrators, Refined administrators, and Site administrators (default)
Specific logged-in users (based on Atlassian user groups)
All logged-in users
Everyone. When you set availability to Everyone, AI search using Confluence pages is available regardless of whether the user is logged in. AI using JSM knowledge base articles is always only available to logged-in users.
As always, users can only see what they’re allowed to according to their Atlassian permissions.
Data storage
AI search for JSM will not store any content, but will process the content added to your site according to our DPA.
AI search for Confluence stores and processes the content added to your site according to our DPA.
Limits
There’s an upper limit to the amount of conversations that can be generated per month per instance. A conversation is when AI search generates questions: regardless of whether the user interacts with the questions.
