2. Install and open Refined Sites
By installing the Refined Sites app into your Confluence and Jira Service Management (JSM) instances, you can create sites with content from these instances. You still manage your content in Confluence and Jira, meaning that all the updates you make there are instantly reflected on your Refined sites as well.
To learn more about how the apps work, read the intro to Refined Sites.
Install the apps
Want to trial Refined Sites, but you don’t have admin rights in your organization’s instance? Simply create your own sandbox Atlassian instance and install Refined Sites there to try it out.
There are two ways to install Refined Sites:
Directly from the marketplace listings: Refined Sites for Confluence Cloud and/or Refined Sites for JSM Cloud.
From within your Confluence or JSM instance:
In the top navigation menu, click Apps > Find new apps.
Search for Refined Sites.
Select the app and click the Try it free button.
Open the Refined Administration
You create and manage sites in the Refined Administration. To access the Refined Administration from your Confluence or JSM instance:
In the top navigation menu, click Apps > Refined Sites.
Click the Get started button, if this is your first time creating a site. If someone already created one or more sites in your instance, you will see them listed here. The button will say Refined Administration instead.
Next you’ll be taken into the Refined Administration where you can start your site-building journey.
You can also access the Refined Administration directly from a site. Read about the different ways to access the Refined Administration.
